These requirements apply to all types of academic work performed by students in the course of studying at the College, and set requirements for the design and content of text and graphic material, abstracts, reports, and course and diploma projects.
1. General provisions
Creative work, independent work( SRS), abstract, report on a specific topic, work that collects information from one or more sources. Abstracts can be a statement of the content of scientific work, articles, etc. Coursework is one of the types of independent work of the student, which is a scientific study on a specific topic in written form.
The course project is an independent scientific work of the student and is submitted in writing. But its mandatory component is a technical project on a given topic.
Course projects (works) are performed in the process of studying theoretical and practical materials.
Diploma projects one of the types of final qualification work — independent creative work of students who are trained in specialist training programs, performed in the last, final year after completing the theoretical and practical training course.
Course and diploma projects (works) must be performed in accordance with the issued task. When designing projects, special attention should be paid to improving technology, complex automation and mechanization of production, scientific organization of labor and production management, labor protection and industrial ecology. Diploma projects must have an economic justification for the crucial issues of the project.
Academic papers usually contain text and graphic materials. Text documents containing solid text must disclose the subject of the work in accordance with the issued task: reports, calculation and explanatory notes for course and diploma projects( works), control and laboratory work, etc. and documents containing text divided into columns: specification for drawings, process maps, tables, etc.
Graphic documents are divided into drawings, graphs, diagrams, drawings, tables, etc.
